A Unique Universe

Loke Utgard sits somewhere between adult film and storytelling.

The purpose of the story is not to disguise what the production is. These are explicit adult films. But I believe the fantasy becomes considerably stronger when there is a reason for the people to be there and a believable path toward what eventually happens.

Who are these people? Why did they meet? What is happening between them? And what makes the situation gradually cross the line from ordinary into intimate?

That build-up is part of the experience.

A look, a conversation, an unexpected opportunity, an unusual relationship or simply being in the wrong, or right, place at the right time can do more for a fantasy than immediately cutting to the explicit part.

The story exists to tickle the senses, create anticipation and give the viewer something to imagine himself inside. The explicit finale is still the destination, but reaching it should feel like the natural conclusion of what came before rather than something attached to the end of an unrelated scene.

I create primarily for an audience I understand because I belong to it myself: ordinary middle-aged men whose everyday lives may contain considerably more routine and responsibility than unpredictability and fantasy.

For that viewer, I am interested in the “this could have been me” feeling.

An ordinary man. A believable woman. A plausible place. Something unexpected happens, circumstances shift, boundaries move, and an ordinary situation develops into something normally confined to imagination.

Technical quality matters, but technical perfection cannot create that identification. Neither can interchangeable performers or a scenario nobody believes for a second.

The aim is to merge storytelling and explicit adult film, using one to make the other more effective.
