A husband and wife decide to invite another person into their relationship for one night.
The film follows the anticipation, awkwardness, excitement and uncertainty around crossing a boundary that previously existed only in fantasy.
Who becomes jealous? Who surprises themselves? Who takes control once the situation becomes real?
The interesting part is not simply three people having sex. It is what happens to the relationship when the imaginary third person suddenly has a face, a body and a personality.
