The Cabin

A stranded hiker takes shelter in an isolated cabin.

There is an age difference, nowhere useful to go and increasingly little distance between two people who would probably never have entered each other's lives under normal circumstances.

Nothing dramatic needs to happen quickly. Warmth, conversation, curiosity and the strange intimacy created by isolation slowly change the situation.

At some point the question stops being whether something is happening and becomes whether either of them actually wants it to stop.
